Mel Beveridge
Assistant Trainer and Farrier
Mel has worked for North American Thoroughbred Horse Company under head trainer Troy Taylor for several years now. He has come along with the guidance of our lead trainer and is the work horse of the barn. Mel looks after the breaking of our yearlings in Canada along with many everyday jobs at the track all geared towards the well being of our Thoroughbreds.
Mel is also an excellent farrier and looks after all the feet on our horses, young and old. There is a old racetrack adage, "No Foot, No Horse".
